Seminar on Environment at UAP

 

Seminar on 'Environmental Movement and Engineering Knowledge: Changing Societal Mindset' organized by Environment and Disaster Management Club (EDMC) of CE department, UAP was held on June 2, 2014.

Abu Naser Khan, Chairman, Save the Environment Movement (POBA) addressed the seminar as speaker and Pro Vice Chancellor and Head of CE Professor Dr. M. R. Kabir was also present.

'Development of the country should maintain ecological balance and sustainable environmental issues'- Mr. Naser said. The temperature of Dhaka city in increasing day by day due to massive decrease of water bodies, he added. Mr. Naser stressed on collective communications system instead of taking the policies like metro-rail in Dhaka city.

UAP faculties, students and environmentalist attended the program.
